It was a marvelous and inspiring evening at the Jazztone which brought together Dusko Goykovich (trumpet), Gustl Mayer (saxophone) and the Christof Sänger Trio for a fine Jazz session. Goykovich at 86 and Mayer at 81, both established musicians at the European level who played with some of the Greats of Jazz, were performing on stage together with Sängers trio with such kind presence, poetic virtuosity and inherent drive that one was in constant awe about these guys who were burning their midnight oil for a thankful audience.
